Before you schedule an exam, it is useful to be familiar with the conditions that the CBR applies. We have listed them for you:

  • The authorization that you created using your DigiD https://www.mijn.cbr.nl has a validity of 12 months.
  • A scheduled practical exam can only be canceled within 48 hours of making the reservation, provided the exam date is 4 weeks or more in the future. After 48 hours the exam date is fixed and cancellation is therefore NO longer possible.
  • If you cancel a scheduled exam for the 2nd time, the authorization with the CBR will automatically expire. If you want to book another exam, you will have to authorize the driving school again.
    Changing/changing the exam date is only possible twice per candidate. After that, the scheduled exam date is FINAL.
  • If you fail your 1st practical exam, you can only take the exam again after 4 weeks at the earliest.
  • If you fail your 2nd practical exam, you can take the exam again after 15 weeks at the earliest. As of December 1, 2022, this will be shortened to 10 weeks.
